Some careers begin with a plan, others with a simple recommendation. For Terry, it was the latter. When a fellow SASR employee encouraged him to join the travel merchandising team, he took a leap—and it turned out to be the perfect fit. His first salty snack reset for Snyder’s-Lance confirmed what he already knew—he belonged here.
With a passion for the job and a natural ability to lift up those around him, Terry quickly stood out in the field. Whether setting and stocking retail shelves, executing planograms, or leading a store reset, he brings dedication, precision, and a positive attitude to every assignment.
A Career Built on Experience and Adaptability
Terry’s retail career started years before he joined SASR, working in merchandising for Eckerd Drugs before moving up the ranks at TJ Maxx. He built a career in retail, but life had other plans.
When Hurricane Milton devastated his Florida community, everything changed. Despite the destruction, Terry was in awe of how people came together, neighbors helping neighbors, rebuilding what was lost. But while his community found a way forward, nothing felt quite the same.
That’s when he turned to work to find some sense of normalcy again.
Finding Purpose in the Work
Terry found exactly what he needed in SASR’s grocery store resets and stocking opportunities—a way to stay focused, keep moving, and make a difference every day.
“I get my assignments, go to work, do an amazing job, and go home.” That simple rhythm became an anchor. In the middle of so much change, his work provided consistency, a fresh start, and a way to keep moving forward.
Terry has developed expertise in the details that keep grocery stores running smoothly. His role isn’t just about setting and stocking shelves—it’s about precision, teamwork, and delivering a seamless customer experience.
