We’re proud to celebrate incredible individuals like Nikki Frady, whose dedication and adaptability make her an outstanding example of our team’s commitment to excellence. Since joining SASR Workforce Solutions in early 2019, Nikki has accumulated an impressive 6,389 hours over 820 days, completing 57 assignments across 12 states. Her journey reflects not only her passion for merchandiser jobs but also her desire to inspire others to consider the opportunities in travel merchandising careers.
A Lifelong Passion for Merchandising
For Nikki, product merchandising isn’t just a job—it’s been a lifelong passion. Starting in high school, she built her skills over 30 years of experience in resets, tagging and stickering, light fixture and display moves, and mastering the art of reading and setting planograms. What initially attracted her to SASR was the chance to combine her love for merchandising with a unique opportunity to travel and explore the country.
Since joining SASR, Nikki has visited places all across the country, with Arkansas standing out as her favorite destination. “It’s so peaceful there,” she says, reflecting on how her work allows her to find joy both professionally and personally.
Keys to a Successful Merchandiser Role
As a leader in the field, Nikki understands that the backbone of any successful assignment is a well-trained team. Whether it’s organizing store resets or creating visually stunning displays, her dedication to teamwork and collaboration ensures every project is executed with excellence.
“Communication is essential,” Nikki shares. “You need to work closely with your team and ensure everyone is on the same page to achieve the client’s goals.” Her ability to foster a positive environment has not only made her a trusted team leader but also a role model for others pursuing merchandiser jobs.
Staying Motivated on the Road
One of the perks of working in travel merchandiser jobs is the opportunity to explore new places. Nikki credits her motivation to the support she receives from SASR’s corporate office and her fellow field employees. The camaraderie and shared dedication to excellence make every project a rewarding experience.
Through her travels, Nikki has learned the importance of adaptability. “Every assignment is different, and you have to embrace the uniqueness of each project,” she says. “Being able to adapt to different clients, teams, and communities is a skill that will take you far in this career.”
"Be true to yourself, know and understand what you're capable of and be open to reach for the stars."
