When asked about the most important factor in a successful assignment, Faith emphasizes communication. “Communication is always key. If you do not have communication, things will fail.” Her leadership style promotes collaboration and open dialogue, ensuring every reset, tagging and stickering, and planogram task is executed flawlessly.
Memorable Moments on the Road
One of the most fulfilling parts of Faith’s role is traveling to new places and experiencing unique moments. Of all her assignments, her favorite memory happened in North Carolina while working on a Pop Shelf project. During her downtime, she went on a hike and had the rare opportunity to spot a bald eagle. “That memory has stuck with me,” she recalls, showing how travel adds depth and meaning to her career in merchandiser jobs.
Faith’s Advice for New Merchandisers
Faith offers invaluable advice for those considering a traveling merchandising career. Here are her top tips:
- Stay Comfortable: Bring items like a blanket or anything that helps you feel at ease.
- Plan for Safety: Research the area, use multiple GPS tools to cross-check, and always ensure the location is safe.
- Enjoy the Drive: Have someone to talk to or embrace the silence of scenic routes.
- Take Your Time: “Don’t get overwhelmed when learning something new. It takes time and a lot of learning.”

On the Road and Beyond
When it comes to long days on the road, Faith’s go-to snack is green grapes, paired with a chai latte for a little extra comfort. Staying hydrated with water is essential for her. She also makes hotel stays feel more like home by booking Airbnb accommodations, which allow her to cook homemade meals and feel grounded.
